What it includes

This service is different from the Fractional CFO (ongoing financial management) or M&A Advisory through REO Ventures (executing a transaction). Here we build the narrative and positioning layer that prepares a company for the capital-raising process — teaser, business plan, valuation model, positioning for accelerators or investors.

The scope includes narrative and positioning (the story that makes an investor want to learn more, anchored in real traction, not in hype), the investment materials (teaser, business plan, built in the format investors actually expect), the valuation model (a defensible approach, not an inflated number that collapses at the first due diligence) and positioning for an accelerator or VC (adapted to what that program or investor actually looks for).

Most founders are excellent operators, but less skilled at translating the business into the specific narrative and materials investors expect. A technically solid company can be overlooked because the materials do not communicate the opportunity clearly.

Focus areas

Four components that, together, form the complete package.

Narrative & positioning

The story that makes an investor want to learn more, anchored in real traction, not in promises.

Investment materials

Teaser, deck, business plan — built in the format and level of detail investors actually expect.

Valuation model

A defensible approach, backed by logic and comparables, not an optimistic number that does not survive questions.

Positioning for accelerator/VC

Adapting the pitch to what the targeted program or investor actually looks for, not a generic material sent everywhere in the same form.

Deliverables

  1. Teaser (2 pages)

The short first-contact material, designed to open a conversation, not to tell the whole story.

  2. Complete business plan

The extended document, with the business model, market, team and financial plan, for the due diligence stage.

  3. Valuation model

The approach and the logic behind the proposed number, prepared to withstand the questions of an experienced investor.

  4. Accelerator application package

The materials adapted to the specific format required by the targeted accelerator programs.

The price is set after the initial conversation, depending on the company's stage and the amount targeted for the round.

What the collaboration looks like

Four stages, from the diagnostic to the complete package of materials.

  1. 01

    Diagnostic & narrative

Weeks 1-2 — understanding the company's real traction and building the central narrative angle.

  2. 02

    Building the materials

Weeks 3-5 — the teaser and the business plan, in the format investors expect.

  3. 03

    Valuation model

Week 6 — the valuation approach, tested against the arguments an investor would raise.

  4. 04

    Accelerator package & handover

Weeks 7-8 — adapting the materials for the targeted accelerator programs and the complete handover of the package.

Who it is right for

Companies with real traction — revenue, users or other concrete evidence — planning to raise capital in the coming months and needing the story and the materials to reflect the quality of the business underneath just as well.

Who it is not right for

Companies with only an idea, without concrete evidence of traction — materials alone cannot make up for the lack of proof points. Nor companies that are not actually planning a funding round in the near future.
